THE ARTIST --

As a military brat spending most of my life in small town, Missouri, I developed a knack for observation and assimilation. The most interesting part of life for me has always been watching, leaving room for exceptional moments to come into view. Absorbing the world around me and figuring out how to translate it. Through the years, I have found many ways. Photography, writing, music, film. Anything to tell the story. Today, I consider myself a translator. As a director or performer, I am taking what I know about the world and the people in it, and applying that in a way that I believe an audience will resonate with. I’m not partial to whether they understand, but to whether they felt heard, inspired, or hopeful. I believe absolutely that stories have the ability to change the world, that life really does happen. We really are here.
